Our 5-step
Installation Process
Our Epoxy floors are extremely durable, hygienic, easy to maintain and highly resistant to wear, tear and damage.
5-STEP FLOOR COATING APPLICATION PROCESS
STEP 1 – FLOOR GRINDING
Grinding a floor before applying epoxy is a crucial step in the surface preparation process. It involves using diamond-tipped blades on a heavy-duty floor grinder to remove the top layer of the concrete surface. The purpose of grinding is to create a clean, smooth, and level surface that is free of contaminants, such as dirt, oil, and other debris. It also removes any imperfections, such as rough spots or high spots, that could affect the adhesion of the epoxy coating.
STEP 2 – REPAIR CRACKS AND CHIPS
The process of repairing cracks and chips involves cleaning and preparing the affected area, and filling it with a suitable repair material. The most common method is to use a concrete patching compound, which can be mixed and applied to the crack or chip, and then smoothed and leveled. Repairing cracks and chips before applying epoxy is necessary to ensure a smooth, level surface that is free of imperfections, which will result in a stronger and more durable finish.

STEP 3 – APPLY PIGMENTED ADHESIVE BASE COAT AND DECORATIVE COAT
Pigmented epoxy coating is a type of epoxy coating that includes pigments, which are added to the epoxy mixture to give it color. This can be used to create a variety of different finishes, such as solid colors, color flakes, or multi-colored systems. Pigmented epoxy is used to enhance the appearance of the surface it is applied to, as well as to provide additional benefits such as UV resistance and improved durability.
STEP 4 – APPLY CLEAR COAT
A clear coat epoxy finish is a type of epoxy coating that is applied as a clear, transparent layer on top of a surface. This type of epoxy finish can be used to protect and enhance the appearance of a variety of different surfaces. Clear coat epoxy is often used in industrial and commercial settings, as well as in residential settings to enhance the appearance of a surface, or to provide additional protection against wear and tear.
Step 5 - CLEAN UP
Lastly, our team will clean up the workspace by loading up our trailer with all equipment and machinery that was used on site and will dispose of all trash created. We will leave the worksite just how it was upon arrival.
